Although I have been asked to, I won't be doing eps 1 and 2. After rewatching the eps done by the other group, I doubt my translations would come out much differently. =D

oh man, saw your ep 3 subs and the horrible reception you got on d-addicts by those elitist bastards (seriously the j-drama subbing scene must be the worst in the world, mostly a bunch of pretentious fucks). Accidentally ran into this blog by browsing the Shiroi Haru thread though, and wow, seeing it subbed up to episode 6 made me really happy! I was afraid I would have to wait until the end of 2009 to watch the complete series just because a certain subgroup on d-addicts has called shotgun on too much j-dranas than they can handle.

ReplyDeleteYou do know he would have gotten the same replies if nobody else subbed ep 1 and 2 right? So tls subbing the first 2 eps has NOTHING to do with it (besides that being the reason that smp didnt do ep 1 and 2). Except for the deleting you'd get about the same reaction in the anime community afaik (some would like it but most of the people replying would complain)

He got comments like that for ep 3 too ^^. Only difference with the anime community is that d-addicts has a rule that makes it possible for mods to delete them. (well, not like d-addicts is the whole drama community but it is a big part of it for sure).
