With Shiroi Haru coming to an end soon, I was wondering what other shows, already out or upcoming, that would be fun to sub? I don't normally watch every show under the sun. And honestly, I stumbled upon Shiroi Haru purely by accident. So, if you can provide the timings for the script, I'd appreciate it if y'all would give me suggestions on a fun show. Thanks!
Without the timings, it would take me at least a week to sub things =[.

ReplyDeleteI recommend you sub a show that has already been softsubbed in other languages but not in english. If you do that, you wouldn't need to have it get timed. Most of the softsubbers will let you use their softsubs.

For the upcoming shows, I'll probably watch ep1 of most of them just to see if I'm interested in subbing them. However, are there any other shows that are showing now or already done that are interesting? I don't have enough time to sit and search all the old shows =].
ReplyDelete..someone just started subbing this..Aishiteru, but if you're looking for something good to watch, try it. Its really underrated, and a real good show.

ReplyDeleteI second furransu on Kanryotachi no Natsu. The main cast is impressive, storyline seems interesting enough, and no fansub group has announced that they will sub it yet.

Awesome Furransu, do you time it or do you use the japanese subs ? If so, do you get them off of share?
ReplyDeletei can get timings (aka korean subs) which usually comes out 1-2 days or sometimes few hours after the raw release :)
ReplyDeleteFrom the comments I've read, Boku no Imoto is not worth it. BOSS is also currently taken up by TimeLesSubs, but it's (as usual) only up to ep. 4, even though the finale is going to air this week. Meitantei no Okite is a lot of fun, but Queerbeet is subbing it even though it's only up to ep. 04, and the show has just ended last friday.

its best to sub a next season drama, so you sub while the drama is on the run.

ReplyDeleteA bunch of folks have been waiting and hoping desperately for episodes 7 and 8 of "Monster Parent" to be subtitled. It could be too hot to handle though, as some strong feelings are voiced in the forum. There are .srt files in a language my computer can't display, but the timing seems right. There are a couple of video glitches in episode 7.

ReplyDeleteI'm hoping someone subs Limit/Keiji no Genba 2, Koishite Akuma, and TEIOH in the upcoming summer season. They all sound good to me, but I think you should just check a couple out that look good to you and sub that. =D

ReplyDeleteAs for the next season, I'd definetely vote for Koishite Akuma.
But both shows are really different from Shiroi Haru.
Akahana no Sensei also seems to be a cute drama and so does call center no koibito. Anyway, I will watch anything you pick because I really loved your work in Shiroi Haru!

ReplyDeleteAtm Hyoryu Net Cafe is pretty much done. As for Ghost Friends, we're using the Hungarian Group's softsubs since they gave us permission, but if you have episodes 7+ yeah email them to Touhif@Hotmail.com if you can.
