SMP Subs goes on extended hiatus

In a last-minute turn of events, I'm now headed to med school. Since my free time will become nonexistent, I'm going to have to stop subbing. It's been really fun, and your support has been great. So, thanks for everything...y'all have been awesome!

So I checked out Maid Deka...and I'm passing on that. Can anyone point me toward the RAWs for Kanryotachi no Natsu and Koishite Akuma? I'm also adding Saru Lock to the list of possible projects. There doesn't seem to be an Abe show coming up, but hopefully there will be some gems in mix =[.

Thanks for all the input on my last post, guys! So I went through the comments and I've generated the following list of upcoming shows that have been recommended so far (in no particular order):

Next show to sub?

With Shiroi Haru coming to an end soon, I was wondering what other shows, already out or upcoming, that would be fun to sub? I don't normally watch every show under the sun. And honestly, I stumbled upon Shiroi Haru purely by accident. So, if you can provide the timings for the script, I'd appreciate it if y'all would give me suggestions on a fun show. Thanks!

Without the timings, it would take me at least a week to sub things =[.

I noticed some major mistakes when I finally sat down to watch the ep. It's funny what a good night's sleep can do for your hearing >D. Here's v2 of the subs...I won't promise perfection, but I hope they're better this time around. Time permitting, I'll go back and revise the previous eps as well. Release Times

I'm glad y'all enjoy the subs. Ep8 was a funny one. With work and all, in the future I'll probably start to work on subs on Fri or Sat. So they'll be finished around then as well. Thanks!

And...it's done. I've set the font to 20 or so. Hopefully it'll appear as a normal size for y'all. As always though, you can edit the appearance of the subs any way you like by opening it in notepad. Enjoy! It looks like ep9 is going to be a tearjerker!

Font Size

Apparently, I'm making the font too big. They look fine on my TV (they take up a small area on the bottom of the screen). What's a better font size to use? And would it be simpler just to upload them as a .srt or some other format? Or is it the subtitle program I'm using (I use Subtitle Workshop)? Suggestions please. Thanks!

Thanks for the support guys. I'm glad people enjoy my not-so-great-but-getting-better-i-hope efforts. I just got back from vacation and will resume working on ep7 now. Once again, thanks!

Although I have been asked to, I won't be doing eps 1 and 2. After rewatching the eps done by the other group, I doubt my translations would come out much differently. =D

Shiroi Haru - 06 is currently underway. Hopefully, I can get it done soon.

.ssa files are played just like any other subtitle file type. If you have trouble with them, try getting either the K-Lite or CCCP. Either codec pack works great, and simply googling them will provide you with a million ways to download them.
